Cat Adoptions
At Pet Country, we strongly support the adoption of dogs and cats into your home. That is why we have now partnered with Dr. Wheaton and the Pet Rescue Center in trying to find cats new homes. We now have cats available for adoption right in our store. Customers are welcome to come view the cats in their custom condos and a large walk-in enclosure.

We would also like to give a special thanks to Stella & Chewy's, ZiwiPeak, and Primal for providing raw and canned food for the cats. In addition, we also want to thank Feline Fresh for providing their great litter.

Hi There, my name is Bart and I am about 5 yrs old.... I was originally an owner relinquishment to the rescue as my owner could no longer care for me. I am a pretty quiet mellow boy, yet very loving. I am sort of an independant guy, who loves people and is very affectionate and loving with people. I would do best as the only furry one in the home. But hey, that just means I get your attention all to myself.

My name is Quizno and I am about  1 yr old, I was rescued on my last day from the Merced shelter..... I am a very social, playful guy and boy do I love to talk.... I love my human attention and in fact I am very demanding about it too..... I may do well with other cats though sometimes I get a bit upset if they bother me, it is likely I would do best in a home where I am the only cat but in a home with lots of space it could all work out.

I am very social, and so curious. I just love to explore the cat play area and love playing on the cat tree and with my toys... I also seem to do well with other cats.
